NL64 Beat Newsletter.
Welcome to my monthly update for the residents and communities of the NL64 Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA). This newsletter will be circulated on a regular basis and will provide an insight into what is happening at the NPA.
– PCSO 6549 Chelsey Mason
High-visibility patrols continue across Shepshed, Hathern, Thorpe Acre and Dishley following reports of off-road motorcycles being ridden in the area. Particular attention is being given to Glenmore Park and Oakley Park, Pear Tree Lane Park, Jubilee Park, Coe Avenue and Jubilee Path. In addition, PCSO 6000 has met with Charnwood Borough Council to discuss practical measures that could be implemented to help deter and reduce the use of off-road motorcycles. As part of our ongoing efforts to address this issue, the beat team has also issued Anti-Social Behaviour Warning Letters to individuals involved. This forms the first stage of the incremental approach used to tackle the irresponsible use of off-road bikes within the community.
🚔 Upcoming Beat Surgeries - Shepshed, Hathern & Thorpe Acre 🚔 Come along and meet your local neighbourhood policing team. These informal drop-in sessions are a great opportunity to discuss any concerns, ask questions, receive crime prevention advice, and find out what's happening in your area.
